Shinpa is a translucent wavy sticky tab inspired by the emotional ripples felt while reading. It gives readers a subtle way to mark passages that stay with them, leaving a feeling on the page without writing directly in the book.

Challenge
Straight sticky tabs can mark a place in a book, but they do not express how strongly a sentence or passage has affected the reader. The challenge was to create a sticky tabs that could carry a sense of emotion without adding words to the page.
Solution
Shinpa uses a soft, wave-like form to visualise the emotional ripples felt while reading. Its translucent shape sits lightly on the page, turning a simple marker into a quiet expression of how a passage stayed with you.
